Fulfilling the Vision

We are standing on Holy Ground…..Fulfilling the Vision!

On December 31, 2018, the date for the Time to Build Campaign will be accomplished. All we need to do is look at our complex, see the Grace House completed and looking like it has been there for years to know that our family has persevered in order to accomplish this goal.

Now the next level of fulfilling our vision of building Grace House is to focus on debt retirement of the 15 year loan in a more timely and prudent manner. Our goal is to accomplish this in 3 years.

It was appropriate to launch this campaign with shared information on July 29, 2018 at our traditional Heritage Sunday lunch. At that time, more specific information was provided regarding the financial aspects of this campaign. Each member of this parish is being visited by other members of our family on the Debt Retirement team to discuss extending their pledge from the Capital Campaign into the Debt Retirement Campaign for 3 years.

The rationale for this is based on the core concept of returning to God thanksgiving for the blessings he has given us by being good stewards of those blessings. There is also the more practical rationale in that retiring the mortgage in 3 years (rather than 15 yrs) will save this parish $145,511.38 in interest if paid off by 1/1/21.

The fulfilling of the vision for our corner of Holy Ground is to return to God the blessings He has given us in providing Grace House. By coming full circle we, the recipients and stewards of God’s abundance, will give back to God that which He has given us.

Please prayerfully consider your pledge to completely fulfill the vision of making Grace House truly God’s own.
